Well, what do ya know?
Barack Obama's coming to Kentucky, after all.
His campaign issued a news release today stating that the Illinois senator would bring his campaign to the Commonwealth "early next week." Sounds like Monday, doesn't it?

Don't sound so surprised! He's sent out at least 3 glossy mailers and his campaign has been on the ground here in rural Ky. for over a month. He's not like someone else who will drop in for a "big show" to raise funds and then vanish never to be seen again. He is truly the peoples candidate. I do believe he will be appearing in Louisville on Mon. Makes me wish I still lived in Bardstown!
There is a site called "Eventful" where you can submit who you would like to come speak/play in your area. I'm hoping MSU has requested Barack enough that just maybe....
At any rate. My family will be canvassing for the Obama campaign today here in Murray! Yes, we are here too! Wish us luck and Happy Mothers Day!
